A Dorm Washing Machine Can Make Dorm Living More Tolerable

Ever wish you could have a dorm washing machine? If you're away at college, you know that you are missing out on the creature comforts of home and living on a tight budget. The local laundromat eats up your spare change and is quite frankly, not a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. I think most people would rather be hanging out with friends and enjoying what little free time they have as opposed to lugging laundry to a laundromat, in or out of the dorm.

The good news is, there are machines out there that fit the bill. They are small enough to fit in a closet or cabinet when not in use, and cost under a hundred bucks. There are a few drawbacks, but when weighed against the alternatives, most people find them quite convenient while freeing up a lot of time.

These "mini washing machines" are not designed to handle laundry for a family of four, but if you need to wash an item for that date on Saturday night, you can do it conveniently in the dorm room without yet another afternoon spent in the laundromat.

With the price of everything on the rise, you can easily spend 10 bucks doing your laundry at the laundromat as opposed to using a dorm washing machine for the cost of the detergent.

Run out of clean socks? You might have enough clothing overall to get you through until the next weekend, but clean socks and underwear seem to run out at the speed of light. One of these little machines let's you wash them so you don't have to worry about what your mother always warned you about, "Always wear clean underwear in case you get in an accident."
