There are many espresso machines that meet the different needs and budgets on the market today, but the coffee house DeLonghi machines have stood the test of time and are known for their quality and ability to make excellent coffee. The features are well thought through, and the design is well laid out. You get a solid flow of steam at just the right temperature, which makes frothing your milk an easy task. The warming rack on top is spacious, and a great help to preheat the cups, or to serve everyone at the same time. The steamer nozzle is the one of the few I have seen that can be taken off easily, rinsed off, and reassembled. Many of the machines I have used before made this task almost impossible, and it was hard to clean off the residue left on the nozzle. The DeLonghi EC702 is a much better design, and the steamer nozzle is always clean and ready for your next cup of coffee.
The drip tray comes off for easy cleaning too. Filling the water reservoir is a pleasure as it pulls out like a small drawer so you can add more water without needing to remove the entire reservoir from the machine. Being a coffee lover, I use it all the time. I have no hesitation to recommend the DeLonghi EC702 without reservation. It's good-looking, easily cleanable, heats up very fast, steams the milk quickly to a lovely froth, and in summary, a GREAT machine at a GREAT price.
