At one look, it is a Starbucks espresso machine, no doubt about it. It has the company logo and is sold on the company website. But, no one has heard about them producing coffee or espresso makers before right?
Well, this is because they are not producing it at all. The espresso brewer that we are talking about is actually produced by a very renowned coffee machine maker, Saeco. And if you think about it, it is not really a Starbucks machine, don't you agreed.
This is a machine that is designed and produced for the company. Although, not done by them, it is a very good coffee machine.
The first thing that attracts many of you to this machine would probably be its exterior, the look and feel of this brewer. I guess everyone would this sturdy all metal casing that wrap around the machine to be very Zen.
Well, great effort went behind the design of this espresso maker; it was done by a team of designers from B&W. Yes, these are the folks that designed the very luxurious sedan cars.
If the design is good, the features of this coffee maker are even better, and one article would not be able to round up all the great features. I would just want to point your attention to one feature which I find would greatly value add to your coffee experience -the rapid steam.
It is because this machine is build by Saeco, that it would be equipped with rapid steam, the proprietary technology from them.
This technology allows you to change from frothing your cappuccino to brewing an espresso without any delay in timing. For folks that has resigned to waiting while changing between steaming and brewing, you would see the merit of this feature.
Reading till here, you would agree with me that the technology behind the Starbucks espresso machine has nothing to do with them, but we should be glad that it is so!
Because of this, you get a machine that is designed by B&W and coffee making technology from Saeco. Don't you think it is better than Starbucks building it themselves?
