Coffee Makers - How Hot and How Long Does it Take?

How long do coffee makers brew coffee and how hot is the temperature of the brewed coffee? The answers to these questions depend on what brewer you are using. It depends on the brand and the type of brewer.

There are brewers that produce very, very hot coffee-that kind that can scalp your lips while there are those that are hot, enough to make it more pleasurable to drink. There are also those machines with hot plates. The freshly brewed coffee is not that hot but when it stays for a bit more time in the carafe propped on the hot plate, it gets hotter.

The brewing process takes only a few minutes depending on how large a brewer you are using or how efficient the brand of brewer you have bought. Single cup coffee machines can brew as fast as 3 minutes, give and take a few more minutes. The larger ones can take 5 or more minutes.

There are some people that claim to have a very efficient machine as their machine can finish brewing even if they haven't finished their yawn yet in the morning. While this may sound exaggerated, that is how efficiently some selected brewing apparatuses are.

If speed is what you are after, the typical drip coffee machines are good choices. They make some of the best tasting coffee with the right temperature and the impressive speed. Bunn Coffee Machines are especially singled out when it comes to speed. Most of the consumers who have bought their machines compare them to the previous brands they have had and this one always comes first when it comes to speed.

Zojirushi is a good brand when you want impressive heating system. It sounds weird but there are actually people who want their coffee piping hot and no other way. If you are one of those people, try this brand and look for a good model that can suit your java preferences.

It produces 185 to 200 water temperature which is the most ideal. It is still ideal to drink although it is by normal measure, too hot. The boiling point temperature is not drinkable anymore. This is the closest thing you can get to that.

If you are feeing more adventurous, some java aficionados suggest the use of Italian stovetop brewers. Temperature of brewed cup of Joe can reach above boiling point to around 230 degrees Fahrenheit.
